Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about contract renewals, reminders, plans, and security.

What is DocRenewal?

DocRenewal is a contract management platform that helps teams track contract renewal dates, receive automated reminders before deadlines, and keep contract documents and details in one place.

How do renewal reminders work?

You add a contract with its renewal or expiry date, and DocRenewal sends reminders ahead of the deadline so you have time to renew, renegotiate, or cancel. Reminder templates and notification channels can be configured in Settings.

Can DocRenewal track auto-renewing contracts?

Yes. You can mark contracts that renew automatically and track their cancellation deadlines, so a notice window does not close unnoticed.

How do I add my contracts?

You can upload contracts or add them manually by entering the vendor, dates, value, and other key details. Contracts can then be searched, filtered, and viewed on the dashboard and timeline.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 5 contracts. Paid plans (Starter, Professional, and Enterprise) add higher contract limits and more features such as analytics, integrations, and team collaboration. See the pricing page for current plans.

Can my team use DocRenewal together?

Team collaboration, including inviting teammates and managing shared access and roles, is available on plans that include it. Check the pricing page to see which plan fits your team.

Does DocRenewal integrate with other tools?

DocRenewal supports calendar and messaging integrations so renewal events and reminders can reach the tools your team already uses. Availability of specific integrations depends on your plan.

How is my contract data protected?

DocRenewal is hosted on Railway, which maintains SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 certified infrastructure. Read the security page for more details on how account and data protection are approached.

How can I contact DocRenewal?

Use the contact page to reach the team with questions about the platform, pricing, or your account.
